Apple Cinnamon Chia Cereal
INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp chopped walnuts
1 small red apple chopped
6-8 oz nut milk of choice (I like almond or flax)
1 tbsp avocado oil
½ tsp cinnamon, cardamom or nutmeg. Or mix all three!
½ tsp vanilla
Pinch of pink Himalayan salt
2 tbsp collagen powder (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Step 1
Add chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla, cinnamon and avocado oil to mason jar and shake vigorously to mix. Let sit for ~20 minutes to thicken. Can sit in fridge overnight for a thicker, pudding like consistency.
Step 2
Add chopped walnuts & apples and enjoy!
Pro Tip:
Switch up your fruit! Try this same recipe with banana, pear or mango!
